Event Description
Ashland Annual Festival of Light!
The Festival of Light, a community event put on by the Ashland Chamber, begins each year the day after Thanksgiving to kick off the holiday season. There is entertainment on the Plaza, followed by Santa’s Parade at 5:00 pm and a Grand Illumination with a countdown led by Santa and Mrs. Claus who officially turn on over one million lights all over downtown.
The annual Festival of Light invites you to shop local and celebrate the holidays in Ashland. Each year Travel Ashland and the Ashland Chamber lights and decorates the town through generous support of all our sponsors and the partnership with the City of Ashland. From the historic, refurbished red lanterns on East Main Street and the winter banners on Lithia Way, to the snowflakes on Ashland Street and the wreaths and bows that adorn downtown, these decorations are made possible by the Ashland Chamber with support from sponsorship from the private and public sector.
