Event Description

Join NAMI-SO (National Alliance on Mental Illness of Southern Oregon) on October 7 from 1-4pm at the Lithia Commons II in Medford for the March4Hope. This FREE, fun, and family-friendly community event is to raise awareness about our country’s need for a world-class treatment and recovery system for people with mental illness. We march to defeat the stigma of mental illness; to promote tolerance and acceptance; to promote awareness and educate the public; and to remind people that mental illness is not a choice, it’s a condition. We have a terrific line up of guest speakers, such as Jackson County Sheriff Corey Falls and Judge Pat Wolke, along with some great musical guests. Visit our website at nami-so.org (click on the EVENTS menu) to learn more and to register—it’s FREE. You can also find us on Facebook by searching NAMI-SO. Together we can make a difference.
