Rogue Valley Bird Day is the local celebration of International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD), which celebrates one of the most important and spectacular events in the life of a migratory bird—its journey between wintering and breeding grounds. This year’s theme is, “Restore Habitats, Restore Birds,” focuses on the importance of preserving and restoring habitats, the various threats to existing habitats, and the elements of habitats on which birds depend.
Join us on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, to celebrate! Enjoy… Wildlife Images exhibits, guided bird walks, shade-grown coffee, and a bird-calling contest at 10:30 a.m. for all ages. This outdoor event is admission-free and takes place at North Mountain Park, 620 N Mountain Avenue, Ashland.
