Event Description

McMenamins Annual UFO Festival at Hotel Oregon in McMinnville. UFO Festival skeptics, experts, and wine-country day trippers alike are invited to enjoy events throughout the weekend. Outdoor festival tent and UFO gift shop, live music, an outlandish alien costume parade, a pet costume contest, a performance by Willamette Radio Workshop, and much more! Have a pint or two of handcrafted McMenamins Alienator Ale. Attend our Alien Costume Ball for a chance to win prizes for the most comical or well-done space outfit (tin foil and duct tape are encouraged!). Do some shopping on Main or Third Streets. Meet other believers or disbelievers and exchange notes and stories. All are welcome.

We are celebrating a successful UFO Festival — thanks to all who attended the annual event! What fun! By our count, those numbers were high, showing a strong interest in the Phoenix Lights. From the Navajo Rangers to Dr. Lynne Kitei, speakers offered evidence and insight, engaging and captivating the audiences. We were glad many people were able to talk one-on-one with featured speakers following their larger presentations, too. This year’s fun meant more live music than ever, as well as a new 5K and another spirited, successful parade and pet contest.

We’ve marked our calendars to start planning the next Festival, so plan on joining us for the next Annual UFO Festival in McMinnville!
